Harv & Lucy are my 5x great grandparents on the maternal side of my mom's side of the family. They were enslaved people in the United States during the time of slavery. They also lived through emancipation, meaning they legally were released from slavery.
This one picture is the only reference we had of Harv and Lucy. I was tasked with recreating their likeness with this one photo.
