Harvey 'Harv' & Lucy Carson were my 5x great grandparents on the maternal side of my mother's family. They were enslaved people in the United States during the time of slavery. They lived through emancipation, the legal release of enslaved people, after the American Civil War in April 1865.
I was tasked with recreating Harv & Lucy Carson's likeness in 3D without the use of AI. I only had one grainy black & white photo as the sole reference for this commission.
