The mentorship circle allowed me to get very vulnerable with my fears of being a woman in visual effects. I quickly shed that fear and have a new pride in being a woman of color in visual effects. I will continue to support all artists that have a passion for visual effects.
In our mentorship circle, Ellen taught us about the history of visual effects in live-action and animation. We learned about the pipeline differences between live action filmmaking and 3D animation. Ellen also gave us the secrets about how to produce fantastical imagery through the lens of stylized animation.

Later in the year, I accepted an honorable mention scholarship with Women in Animation and Unity. This was an incredible honor and I was able to learn so much with the scholarship.
