During the  summer of 2016, I participated in Girls Who Code's Summer Immersion Program. The program was hosted by Pixar Animation Studios. During my seven weeks in the program, I learned the following coding languages: Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript. I was also introduced to Arduino during that time.

In the last few weeks of the program, I collaborated with four of my fellow interns. We built and pitched a game to Pixar employees and our families. The process of making a game from scratch with a small team was a difficult but welcome challenge.  Our project was called Splat.
Splat was created for users to have an outlet to relieve tension when they encountered stress.  The way the game works is that the user chooses one of the five theme options they'd like to experience. Once the player decides on the theme,  they press or slam random letters and numbers on their keyboard and paint splats appear. After sometime, once their stress was relieved from pushing buttons, there would be a personal piece of art created by the user.
